All institutes under the IMM Directorate of Libraries and Museums participate in the Book Sharing program. The books to be shared within this program consist of books donated to the directorate by individuals or institutions. An appropriate selection is made from the books obtained by donation and is sent to the requesting institution. The shipment charge is covered by IMM.
Institutions requesting book sharing are required to read the Book Sharing Principles and then send their requests to kutuphanemuzeler@ibb.gov.tr with a petition in which they indicate their demands in detail. After the petition reaches the Atatürk Library Donation Unit, it is evaluated and put in order. The delivery time of the books varies based on to the intensity of the demand.
