The Atatürk Library Album Collection includes 12,053 various engravings and photographs across 775 albums. The Middle East and Turkey themed albums cover the first quarter of the 1800s and the last quarter of the 1900s. One remarkable example of which is Melling's engraving album “Voyage pittoresque de Constantinople et des rives du Bosphore”. The drawings of the palace and its surrounding circle, the harem, daily works, and the Bosporus landscape are other striking highlights.

The work by C. Sayger and painter Auguste Joseph Desarnod entitled “Album d'un voyage en Turquie fait par ordre de sa majesté l'Empereur Nicolas I. en 1829-1830” contains the drawings that were created during the Ottoman-Russian war of 1829-1830 many of which are war scenes.

Another notable engraving is Peter Coeck's work, of which only 100 copies, printed by his wife after his death, exist. The work is printed on wood and is entitled “The Turks in MDXXX, a series of drawings made in that year at Constantinople.” It depicts the social life and traditions in the period of Sultan Süleyman (1520-1566).

The visual collection is rich and varied. On one hand it contains A. V. Werner's work “Der Berliner Congress, 1878” which the historic 1878 signing of the Berlin Treaty. On the other hand, there is “La Turque mœurs et usages des Orientaux” which depicts 19th Century Turkish customs and traditions through scenes from Ottoman daily life in bazaars and coffee houses, as well as entertainment, dance, music, and harem life.

There are also technical and architectural drawings such as the “Description de L'Asie Mineure faite par Ordre du Gouvernement Français, de 1833-1837, et Publiée par le Ministére de L'Instruction Publique” which enrich the “Album” collection.
