The Hıfzı Tevfik Gönensay Collection consists of 251 various archival documents. Gönensay (1982-1949) worked as an administrator at schools such as Boğaziçi, Vefa, and Kabataş High Schools. The Collection contains his published articles in various magazines and newspapers such as Servet-i Fünûn, Türk Yurdu, Hürriyet-i Fikriye, and Tan Newspapers. The collection also includes documents about his duties and writing, letters of criticism regarding his writings, the letters of Vedat Nedim Tör and Selim Sırrı Tarcan, petitions and private correspondence and correspondence regarding his dismissal from his position at Boğaziçi High School and the subsequent appointment of Nihal Atsız.
