The fourth installation of our lending library project, which aims to make books more accessible to Istanbul residents, was opened in Ümraniye on March 19, 2025 by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.
The first example of our vision to bring the busiest city squares together with culture, art, and books was the Mecidiyeköy Lending Library, which was opened following the square regeneration project in Mecidiyeköy. Now, the Dudullu Lending Library, which has begun service in Ümraniye as a part of the local landscaping project, is also helping to revitalize the square.
Dudullu Lending Library offers a selection of 2,500 books, mainly focusing on works about Istanbul, as well as literature, art, history, cultural heritage, and research.
Istanbul residents can return the books they borrow to any İBB library or İBB lending library station. Thanks to İBB Lending Libraries, residents can now easily access the books they want from wherever they wish.
All local residents can benefit from the lending services of the Dudullu Lending Library, as well as all libraries affiliated with the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's Department of Urban History and Promotion, Library and Museums Branch Directorate.
