Continuing its mission of establishing new libraries that serve not only as centers of rich book collections but also as cultural and educational hubs in Istanbul, the Necati Cumalı Library, affiliated with the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, opened its doors on April 6, 2023.
Located in a central area of Tuzla, our library makes access to books and knowledge easier for the community. It operates on an 85-square-meter area with a capacity of 25 people. The library brings together 5,505 works from various disciplines, ranging from literature to art, architecture and design to philosophy.
All local residents, especially those in the area, can benefit from the borrowing services at Necati Cumalı Library as well as all libraries affiliated with the Library and Museums Branch Directorate under the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality’s Department of Urban History and Promotion.
