The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality has opened a new hub for culture, arts, and science in the heart of the city for residents’ use. The Habitat New Generation Life Center in Şişli is a space where Istanbulites of all ages can share ideas, experiences, and knowledge; and where collaborative production and learning are possible. Designed to foster idea-sharing and co-creation, this multifunctional area has become a new environment for Istanbul’s youth to work, create, and learn from one another.

Habitat Art, the culture and arts wing of the Habitat New Generation Life Center, hosts events, workshops, educational programs, and exhibitions in its spacious 465-square-meter venue.

With its comprehensive and rich collection, the Habitat Library also makes access to culture and knowledge easier.

The center includes Habitat Stage, a space available for theater groups, performing artists, and independent artists.

Since the day it opened, Habitat Art has been welcoming art enthusiasts with a wide range of exhibitions and cultural activities.
