Maltepe Sanat has opened its doors on the Asian side of Istanbul as a new space where urban culture intersects with daily life. Developed by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, this art gallery is not just an exhibition space, but also a vibrant meeting point where public life and artistic expression merge.

Maltepe Sanat was established with the understanding that city squares are not merely areas for passing through or gathering, but, throughout history, have been public grounds where ideas, aesthetic sensitivities, and collective memory take shape. Located in the same area, the Lending Library has also been opened to facilitate easy access to information.

Designed as a place where art blends with the rhythm of the street and touches the local community, Maltepe Sanat is not only a space to observe art but also to share it. Breathing new life into Istanbul’s relationship with culture and art, Maltepe Sanat hosts a variety of exhibitions.
