Situated at the heart of Müze Gazhane—established as Turkey's first public climate center—the "climate crisis," one of today’s most urgent global issues exacerbated by the Anthropocene era’s sixth mass extinction, is the museum's central focus.
The Climate Museum offers visitors in-depth content around key questions: What is climate? How has it changed throughout history? In what ways does the current global climate change differ from past shifts? How can we predict future climate scenarios? What are the societal and economic impacts of this change, and how can we stop or slow down the process?
In addition to written and visual materials, the Climate Museum brings the climate agenda to the public through exhibitions, talks, and various events. With a focus on solution proposals for sustainable living, the museum aims to raise awareness and encourage positive change.
